Peedie Ranch is a semi-working croft and home to a multitude of chickens, Indian Runner ducks, turkeys and guinea fowl all of which have the freedom to roam as they please on our land. It is also home to Denzel the sheep who is under the impression he is really a dog and 2 rather large donkeys called Tammy and Trouble. We grow many of our vegetables and naturally, we have an abundance of freshly laid eggs every morning. It's the perfect getaway holiday destination in the far north of Scotland surrounded by nature and some lovely animals.
The setting is peaceful making it a great base for a holiday that allows you to unwind after having spent the day exploring this beautiful region. Contrary to belief, we enjoy wonderful weather up here although at times it can be a little breezy, but that's our little well kept secret.
Being so close to Thurso and its fabulous surfing beach (reputably one of the best in the country) and just a stone's throw away from the majestic dunes at Dunnet Bay, our croft is ideally situated whether you enjoy being on a beach, exploring the superb coastal and inland walks or cycling and taking in some of the most beautiful areas to be found this far north.
The night skies are something to behold, especially when there's a display of the Northern Lights and we'll let you know if there's a chance it might happen!
We provide a continental breakfast in the sitting room/dining room from 8 am until 9 am. if anyone would like to have their breakfast earlier, this can be arranged by letting us know the night before.
Well behaved dogs are more than welcome, but must be kept on leads when on the property because of the livestock.

We ask for a 50% deposit when making a reservation (non-refundable unless under exceptional circumstances)
